Versatile and easy to use: meet the Hotwire Quickdraw from Black Diamond. The quickdraw is suitable for both sport climbing and alpine use. It features two HotWire snapgate carabiners that are very reliable, and they’ll rest nicely in your hand. Thanks to the wire gate, they’re also super lightweight and won’t freeze in icy temperatures, which is especially practical whilst ice climbing and mountaineering. The large opening also makes it much easier to hook into steel hangers and ropes. In addition, the dogbone was designed in such a way that the lower carabiner cannot twist. Most importantly, the colour coded carabiners makes it clear which way round the express set has to be hooked in.
